From Glasgow

Take the A82 North along Loch Lomond towards Tarbet and then take the A83 round the head of Loch Fyne to Inveraray. Allow one and a half hours.

As you come into Inveraray, there is a road to the Castle on the right, and IMMEDIATELY AFTER is the road to Oban. Take this road (under the arch) and drive for 100 metres. You will see the hostel at the left, keep going and you will see the turning into our car park.

From Oban

Take the A85 North towards Connel, Taynuilt and Loch Awe. Turn Right onto the A819 to Inveraray. Allow about one hour.

As you drive down the straight hill into Inveraray, almost the first thing you see is the sign to the hostel car park on your right..

Inveraray Hostel's Policies and Conditions: 'Special condition - 15th of April until the 15th of September' If the booking is cancelled up to 7 days before arrival a full refund will be provided. If the booking is cancelled within less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the full amount of booking will be charged and no refund will be given. Check in from 3.30pm – 9.30pm. Check out by 10:00 on day of departure. The hostel is closed from 10am until 3.30pm for all guests. Payment upon arrival by cash and credit cards. Taxes included. Breakfast not included. Continental Breakfast £3.50 Towel Hire 50p General: No curfew. Please give us an up to date check in time if you are arriving after 9pm. You are given a code to the door to enter the hostel after 10pm. Mixed Dormitories: Dorm rooms are shared by both male & female guests. If you prefer to stay in a single-sex room, please contact us directly All beds are bunk beds. All bed linen is provided and all beds are ready made All toilet/shower facilities are shared, single-sex. Sorry, no en-suite rooms here! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian over 18 years) & booked into a private room. Infants under 2 years are not charged on the provision that they share a bed or sleep in a travel cot (we do not provide travel cots). Pets are welcome to enjoy the hostel grounds but not permitted into the hostel building Disabled access: We regret the hostel does not currently feature wheelchair access nor adapted facilities Bookings from stag & hen parties are not accepted Online bookings cannot be made for groups consisting of more than 7 members Please note that the hostel is closed from 1st November until 28th/29th February (except for sole-use rentals)
